Head of Business Development - #1170551

We are a Singapore-based CMS-licensed financial institution seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead our growth strategy and expand our network of institutional, professional, and strategic relationships.

This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy, direct exposure to senior management, and the opportunity to shape the firm's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the firm's business development and client acquisition strategy.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities across relevant client segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, intermediaries, family offices, asset managers, and strategic partners.
• Drive strategic partnerships, distribution opportunities, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Manage the business development pipeline from origination through conversion.
• Represent the firm at industry events and within key professional networks.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, relationship management, investor relations, capital raising, or a related commercial role within financial services.
• Demonstrated success in generating revenue, acquiring clients, and developing strategic business relationships.
• Strong network across relevant financial institutions, professional investors, intermediaries, family offices, private banks, or asset management firms.
• Sound understanding of Singapore's financial services industry and broader regional market landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
• High professional standards and a strong appreciation of the regulatory environment governing CMS-licensed firms.

Preferred

• Existing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private wealth channels, or strategic distribution partners.
• Experience supporting regional business development initiatives across Asia.
