- Supervising and motivating a team of workers, which includes hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution
- Inspecting equipment and machinery regularly to ensure they are in good working order and arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed
- Developing and implementing production schedules and deadlines
- Maintaining safety standards and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
- Working with other team leaders and managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
- Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
