Design & Project Associate - #1170413
2+1 CONCEPTS
About the Role
We're looking for a Design & Marketing Associate who can turn a blank brief into something people stop scrolling for — on-site and online. At 2+1 Concepts, you'll help shape the visual identity of live events, from motorsport activations like Sprint Fest Singapore to corporate engagements and community programmes, then carry that energy into the content and campaigns that get people talking before, during, and after. If you get a kick out of seeing your design come to life on-site as much as watching it perform in a feed, this role is built for you.
Scope of Work
Your main job scope includes:
- Develop creative concepts and design assets for events, including event branding, collaterals, and multimedia/interactive elements.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, and digital channels to promote events and build brand awareness.
- Create and manage content calendars, including copywriting, graphics, and short-form video for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Prepare quotations and proposals incorporating both design and marketing deliverables.
- Liaise with external clients, partners, vendors, and team members on project and marketing requirements.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to align on design direction and promotional needs.
- Oversee pre- and post-production of event designs, including managing external designers/vendors where needed.
- Manage event photography/videography coverage and post-event content (recap videos, highlight reels, testimonials).
- Support project execution on-site at events, including capturing content for marketing use.
- Monitor project and campaign timelines, ensuring quality standards and brand consistency are met.
- Track marketing performance (engagement, reach, leads) and report insights to improve future campaigns.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Build long-term relationships with existing and new clients, and support company visibility through marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of the Company's sales revenue, network, and public awareness alongside the team.
- Assist other team members as required.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What we are Looking For
- A portfolio that shows campaign or content thinking — not just polished posts, but how you took a brief and built a strategy, a series, or a story around it.
- Solid grip on visual and written communication: you know how to design for a platform and write for it too, not just repurpose the same asset everywhere.
- Working proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva at minimum) to produce social-ready graphics and layouts.
- Comfort managing content across platforms — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok — you understand what changes when a piece of content moves from one to the other.
- A read on performance, not just output — you can look at engagement, reach, or click data and tell what's working and adjust accordingly.
- Time management that holds up under real deadline pressure — events and campaigns don't move their dates for you.
- A collaborative streak: you take feedback well, communicate clearly with non-marketers, and coordinate smoothly with the design/production side.
- A sense of ownership and pride over your own work.
Good to Have
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, content, or a fast-paced creative/agency environment.
- Experience with video editing and short-form content creation for social media.
- Familiarity with paid social/digital advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
- Photography skills.
- Interest in motorsport/automotive culture (a plus given our involvement with Sprint Fest Singapore).
- Prior experience working with corporate clients or in a client-facing role.
- A valid driving license (useful for site visits and event logistics).
