Responsibilities

· Responsible for IT digital initiatives in changing business application landscape.

· Responsible for the continual improvement of the quality of service and resilience of the applications.

· Ensure adherence to software development, change management, problem management standards and processes that are in line with the company’s guidelines. Conduct RCSA test to ensure control effectiveness.

· Build competency center and subject matter expertise that business stakeholders can depend on for various business applications and domains. Work closely with business stakeholders on business requirements and IT colleagues to identify and implement IT solutions.

· Manage team of engineers for inhouse and/or offshore, and/or outsourced implementation vendors, and product vendors. Provide technical guidance to technology teams. Oversee and drive end-to-end program implementation for various functional domains.

· Jointly responsible for the stability and resilience of the business applications together with IT Operations.

· Timely reporting and escalation of risks and issues encountered. Raise risk evaluation and acceptance requests accordingly.

· Follow-up on audit issues end-to-end and the ensure timely tracking and closure of audit issues under the team.

· Ensure the well-being and personal development of team members.

Requirements

· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, or any relevant academic stream.

· At least 15 years’ experience in application development and application management in Banking domain, preferrable wholesale banks.

· Strong technical knowledge inbuilding blocks of information systems and banking landscape, e.g., solution architecture, application securities, integration technologies, etc.

· Comprehensive functional and technical knowledge within various business domains, e.g. core banking, payment, digital channels, client onboarding, credit application, AML, accounting and financial management, regulatory reporting, risk management, treasury management, etc. Capable of communicating effectively with various business stakeholders and participate in process optimization. Familiar with various vendor products in the relevant areas.

· Able to handle challenges with a diagnostic approach and able to find new solutions to difficult IT and business problems. Mandarin verbally and in writing.

· Excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
