Multimedia Designer (Contract) - #1170335

We are looking for a Multimedia Designer (contract) to support the development of the company's websites, digital marketing initiatives and production of company materials.

Responsibilities

Web Development

• Design, develop and maintain custom corporate websites using Wix and WordPress
• Ensure mobile-responsive designs with a focus on UX/UI best practices
• Optimise websites for SEO (site speed, metadata, alt tags, clean URL structures, etc.)
• Customise Wix templates and WordPress themes/plugins to meet brand requirements
• Stay updated on WordPress/Wix updates, Google’s Core Web Vitals, and GEO/SEO trends

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Create engaging social media graphics (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) aligned with brand identity.
• Design ads and implement social media lead generation campaigns

Creative Design & Development

• Design compelling multimedia assets including graphics, icons, videos, animations, data visualisation, and interactive content to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Produce engaging animations and visualisation for web and video

Collaboration with Stakeholders

• Support various ad-hoc creative and marketing projects, such as production of collaterals, photography, video production, and interactive explainer videos
• Manage or coordinate external development resources or vendors when required

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Certification in Multimedia design, Corporate Communications, or related fields
• Formal professional qualifications not required. However, the candidate must have a strong portfolio showcasing animations, motion graphics, compositing, and media projects
• Advanced skills and experience in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.), Canva, Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with social media marketing tools and experience in digital marketing
• A proven track record with at least 3 years of experience in multimedia design, web design, development and digital marketing.
• Advanced skills in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.), Canva, Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with web frameworks and libraries
• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles, web accessibility, and conversion optimisation strategies
• Verbal and written communication skills in English. Copywriting skillset will be an added advantage
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
• High level of initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Willingness to learn
