Job Summary

Join foptics as an Operations Specialist to support order processing, lens edging, inventory management, and logistics coordination in a dynamic start-up environment. Training is provided to help you grow your skills and career.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders accurately in the lab to meet purchase requirements
• Operate fully automatic edging machines to cut lenses to the correct size and shape
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock for all stores
• Monitor and troubleshoot in-house operational procedures to maintain smooth workflow
• Coordinate with logistics partners to fulfill orders and meet delivery lead times
• Support online and in-store colleagues with operational tasks as needed
• Clean and maintain edging machines to ensure proper functioning
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel to manage operational data and inventory
• Fluent communication in English and Mandarin to coordinate with team and partners
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
• Positive learning attitude to adapt and improve in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and machine operation
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Any education level welcomed to apply
• Prior experience in optical trade is a bonus but not required

Other Information

• Work schedule: 5-day work week (days to be determined), 11:30 am to 9:15 pm daily
• Location: foptics HQ, 115A Commonwealth Drive #05-18, Singapore 149596
• Benefits: 14 days annual leave, 14 days medical leave with MC, total 60 days sick leave, off-in-lieu for public holidays
