TRAVEL AGENCY MANAGER - #1170272

Responsible for managing the overall operations of the travel agency, with a focus on inbound tourism, tour planning, customer service, supplier management and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day travel agency operations.
• Plan and coordinate inbound travel arrangements.
• Develop Singapore tour packages and customised itineraries.
• Coordinate hotels, transportation, attractions and tour service providers.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with overseas travel agents and corporate customers.
• Monitor bookings, confirmations and operational schedules.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service recovery.
• Monitor tour costs, pricing and profitability.
• Develop operational procedures and service standards.
• Identify new tourism products and business opportunities.
• Prepare operational and management reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Preferably 3–5 years' relevant travel/tourism experience.
• Strong travel operations and itinerary-planning knowledge.
• Good communication, negotiation and customer-service skills.
• Able to manage multiple travel arrangements simultaneously.
