Bar Manager - #1170097

Job Purpose

Manages the Club's bar and beverage operations, beverage programme, member experience, inventory, cost control and Bar team performance.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead daily bar operations and maintain staffing, stock and service readiness.

● Establish beverage service standards, recipes and operating procedures.

● Develop and review cocktails, signature drinks and the non-wine beverage offering.

● Build member relationships and provide personalised beverage recommendations.

● Lead, coach and develop the Bar team and conduct briefings/product training.

● Manage beverage inventory, ordering, stock counts, wastage and cost controls.

● Monitor margins, variances and controls over premium/high-value products.

● Maintain supplier and brand-partner relationships.

● Coordinate beverage requirements for restaurants, PDRs and events.

● Maintain hygiene, workplace-safety and responsible beverage-service standards.

Requirements

● Significant bar-management experience in premium hospitality.

● Strong cocktail, spirits and beverage knowledge.

● Proven people leadership and inventory/cost-management capability.

● Strong member-relations, communication and discretion.
