Presales Solution Architect (ServiceNow) - #1170060

We are seeking a Presales Solution Architect – ServiceNow to support our sales and solutioning teams in designing and positioning ServiceNow-based solutions for our clients.

You will work closely with customers, sales teams and senior solution architects to understand business and technology requirements, translate them into relevant ServiceNow solutions, and support the development of compelling solution proposals. This role provides an opportunity to build strong expertise across the ServiceNow platform while developing your presales, consulting and solution architecture capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of ServiceNow, IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise IT operations, combined with strong communication skills and an interest in helping customers achieve business and operational transformation through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Solution Architects in designing solutions aligned to customer business and technology requirements.
• Understand customer pain points and translate business requirements into appropriate capabilities and workflows.
• Develop high-level solution concepts, architecture diagrams, process flows and solution proposals.
• Support solution design across areas such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps and other relevant ServiceNow modules.
• Identify opportunities to improve service management processes through workflow automation, platform capabilities and digital transformation.
• Develop an understanding of integration requirements between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications, platforms and systems.
• Support sales teams in customer meetings, discovery sessions and solution discussions.
• Participate in requirements gathering and discovery workshops to understand customers' current environments, challenges and transformation objectives.
• Assist in preparing and delivering ServiceNow demonstrations, presentations and solution walkthroughs.
• Translate technical concepts and ServiceNow capabilities into clear business benefits for customers.
• Support senior architects in responding to customer questions and developing technical solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the presales process.
• Support the preparation of RFP/RFI responses, proposals, presentations and statements of work.
• Assist with solution sizing, effort estimation, resource planning and high-level implementation approaches.
• Work with delivery and technical teams to validate the feasibility, scope and assumptions of proposed solutions.
• Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with customer requirements, ServiceNow best practices and commercial considerations.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions can be effectively implemented.
• Support the handover of solution designs, requirements, assumptions and key technical considerations to project and delivery teams.
• Assist with identifying solution dependencies, risks and potential implementation challenges.
• Maintain awareness of ServiceNow product developments, new capabilities and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Min 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in IT consulting, solution architecture, technical consulting, presales, IT service management or a related technology role.
• Experience working with ServiceNow is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with ServiceNow implementation, configuration, administration or development experience who are looking to transition into presales are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a customer-facing or consulting environment will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, applications, databases and networking will be beneficial.
• Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions.
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable participating in customer meetings, technical discussions and solution demonstrations.
• Ability to create clear solution presentations, architecture diagrams and proposals.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how technology solutions translate into business value.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
