We are looking for a passionate, committed and reflective Preschool Teacher who shares our belief that every child deserves a joyful, engaging and meaningful early learning experience.

The Role

As a Preschool Teacher at Pariposa, you will take ownership of your class while working closely with a supportive teaching team. You will plan engaging learning experiences, observe children's development, create purposeful learning environments and build positive partnerships with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Create meaningful learning corners and indoor/outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity, language, numeracy, problem-solving and independent learning.
• Observe and document children's learning and development and use these observations to guide future planning.
• Maintain children's portfolios, developmental records and Learning Outcome Grids.
• Prepare lesson plans, term newsletters and classroom learning documentation.
• Provide parents with regular and meaningful updates on their child's learning and development through the school's communication platform.
• Build warm, professional and respectful relationships with children and families.
• Maintain an inviting, organised and stimulating classroom environment, including theme boards, learning displays and children's work.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop programmes, schedules and learning experiences that respond to children's interests and developmental needs.
• Plan and participate in educational outings, celebrations, school events and special projects.
• Contribute creatively to the planning and preparation of the school's Year-End Concert and performances.
• Maintain high standards of child supervision, safety, hygiene and classroom care.
• Follow centre procedures for incident reporting, health and safety, sanitation and environmental checks.
• Participate actively in staff discussions, curriculum planning, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
• ECDA-recognised qualification/certification appropriate to the position.
• Relevant preschool teaching experience is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Fresh graduates with the right qualifications, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
