Accounts Receivable Executive [Hotel/ Central] - #1169935

Location: Orchard

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Salary: Up to $3600 + AWS + Flexi Benefit + Staff Meal

Our client is a leading international hospitality company. They are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive (AR) to support the Finance team in managing the hotel’s accounts receivable function. You will be responsible for accurate transaction processing, credit card reconciliation, city ledger management, and maintaining proper financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post payments from guests, banks, credit card companies, tenants, and other receivables.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date city ledger accounts and receivable records.
• Perform daily credit card reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies, chargebacks, and rebates.
• Monitor outstanding balances and support the Credit team with overdue account follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documents for audit and financial reporting purposes.
• Liaise with banks, credit card companies, and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with hotel policies and internal controls.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Use accounting systems such as SUN, Check SCM, or equivalent platforms.
• Provide support to other Finance functions and assist with ad-hoc duties when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel accounting systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
