Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's menu, recipes, and quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Handle food preparation, cooking, plating, and kitchen operations.
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
• Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Assist with stock checking, inventory control, and ingredient preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow company SOPs and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with menu preparation and new dish development when required.
• Minimize food wastage and control ingredient usage.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef-in-Charge or Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen or culinary experience.
• Experience in Chinese cuisine, Asian cuisine, or relevant F&B operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Candidates with Singapore F&B experience will have an advantage.
