Family Lawyer - #1169817

We are partnering with an established Singapore law practice seeking a Singapore-qualified Lawyer to join its Family Law team. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of family and matrimonial matters, with a particular focus on contentious and complex family disputes, while also supporting the firm's growing non-contentious family practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on contested and uncontested divorce matters
• Handle matrimonial disputes involving ancillary matters, custody, care and control, maintenance and division of assets
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and other court documents
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex family law matters
• Manage matters independently from initial consultation through resolution
• Attend court hearings, mediations and negotiations as required
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, practical and sensitive advice
• Work closely with partners and other lawyers on complex or high-value disputes

Requirements

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with approximately 3+ years' PQE
• Prior experience in family law, matrimonial disputes or civil litigation
• Strong drafting, advocacy, research and case-management capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage files and client relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, professional client-facing manner
• Commercial, pragmatic and able to present recommendations clearly and constructively
• Comfortable operating within a hands-on, partner-led practice
