Platform (PaaS/CaaS) Infrastructure Lead

Location: Ang Mo Kio, Singapore

ExperienceRequired: 6+ years

We are seeking an experienced Platform Infrastructure Lead tomanage and operate enterprise platform services within a tenant environmentabove the hypervisor layer, ensuring the reliability, security, availability,and operational excellence of container platforms and COTS componentssupporting mission-critical applications. This role requires strong technicalleadership to manage platform operations, drive continuous improvement, andlead a team of infrastructure engineers.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead and manage the Platform Operations team supportingcontainer platforms and COTS services

• Ensure availability, reliability, security, andperformance of platform services

• Manage platform incidents, service requests, changes,problem management, and root cause analysis

• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot COTScomponents including MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Nginx, Apache HTTP Server,IBM MQ, MQTT, and ArcGIS

• Collaborate with Application and Authority FurnishedEquipment (AFE) teams on system integration, deployments, and issue resolution

• Develop and maintain SOPs, operational runbooks, andplatform architecture documentation

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, andobservability solutions

• Plan and execute platform patching, upgrades,vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management

• Ensure OS compliance with security hardening standards,including golden image compliance

• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, andresource optimization

• Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business ContinuityPlanning (BCP) activities, including testing and validation

• Drive operational excellence through automation andprocess improvement

• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team ofinfrastructure engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

• 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure, platformoperations, or systems engineering

• Proven experience managing enterprise Kubernetes orcontainer platform environments; hands-on experience with Docker and Podman

• Strong experience installing, configuring, andtroubleshooting enterprise COTS software (MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Nginx,Apache HTTP Server, IBM MQ, MQTT, ArcGIS, or equivalent)

• Experience with enterprise messaging technologies (IBMMQ, MQTT, Kafka, or equivalent)

• Good understanding of networking concepts (firewalls,load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS)

• Strong Linux system administration skills, including OShardening and performance tuning

• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (eGEnterprise, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or equivalent)

• Experience in government, defense, or other highlyregulated environments highly preferred

• Preferred: CI/CD and DevOps practices, infrastructureautomation (Ansible, Shell scripting, Python), REST APIs/messagequeues/event-driven architectures, cybersecurity standards and complianceknowledge

• Experience leading and mentoring a team of 4-6infrastructure engineers
