TEMPORARY / AD-HOC TCM & WELLNESS ASSISTANT - #1169367

Looking to earn some extra income with a flexible work schedule? Ziklag Wellness is hiring a friendly, reliable, and hands-on temporary assistant to support our TCM physician and wellness operations on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a caring, wellness-focused environment and doesn't mind hands-on, practical work.

Job Responsibilities

Herbal Pack Preparation &Stock

• Ensure herbal packs in the fridge are adequately stocked at all times

• Assist with the preparation and packaging of herbal packs according to the TCM physician's instructions

Client Treatment Support

• Measure and record clients' blood pressure before and after Grandspa and herbal steam footbath treatments

• Prepare Grandspa and/or herbal steam footbath sessions for clients, including heating herbal packs, switching on the heater, ensuring bathtub water is at the correct temperature, placing herbal packs into the designated box for the steam footbath, and preparing towels in the bathroom

• Prepare the treatment area and ensure required consumables, such as sealed acupuncture needles and alcohol swabs, are adequately stocked for the TCM physician

• Prepare and serve flower tea to clients

Facility Care & Hygiene

• Clean and sanitise the treatment plinth after every client use

Client Care, Aftercare & Sales Support

• Relay aftercare instructions provided by the TCM physician to clients following Grandspa or herbal steam footbath sessions, and send WhatsApp reminders accordingly

• Assist with the sale of herbal packs and provide clients with approved product information and usage instructions as directed by the TCM physician

Requirements

• Comfortable with hands-on, practical tasks (handling herbs, heat, water and towels)

• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to assist clients who communicate in these languages

• Friendly, attentive, and comfortable interacting with clients

• Meticulous and hygiene-conscious, with good attention to detail

• Willing to work flexible, ad-hoc shifts, including evenings and weekends

• No prior TCM experience required; training will be provided
