ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.

* Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.

* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of works.

* Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed within the required timeline.

* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all works comply with project requirements and quality standards.

* Review construction drawings and provide technical support to the site team.

* Prepare and maintain site documentation, including site reports, progress reports, inspection records and other project-related documents.

* Monitor materials, manpower and equipment usage at site.

* Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems and construction discrepancies in consultation with the Project Manager/Consultant.

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.

* Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties on project matters.

* Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and managing construction works.

* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

* Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.

* Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferred.

* Experience in site supervision and coordination of construction works.

* Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.

* Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.

* Familiar with Singapore construction safety requirements and regulations.

* Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

* Able to work independently as well as in a team.

* Good organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction-related software will be an advantage.

* Willing to work on construction sites and, when required, work beyond normal hours to meet project requirements.
