STUDENT CARE CHINESE MENTOR - #1168948

We are looking for dedicated and nurturing educators to supervise and engage primary school children (7-12years old) after school hours. You will provide academic guidance (Mandarin focus), lead enrichment activities, and ensure a safe, positive and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide students in completing daily school homework

• Conduct English spelling and Chinese Ting Xie practice

• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre

• ⁠Build positive relationships with students through guidance and encouragement

• Conduct centre programs and themed activities

• Assist in planning school holiday programs and excursions

• Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all students

•⁠ ⁠Monitor student behavior and emotional well-being

• Communicating regularly with parents and school administration

• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Manager

Requirements:

• Experience working with primary school-aged children in a student care or teaching environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging students in learning and play

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies

• Patient, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with children
