• Position: Quantity Surveyor (Construction/Tender)

• Location: Ang Mo Kio

• Working hours: 5.5 Days -Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm - only standby at home for urgent matters

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + 14 days annual leave

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Construction

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and Bill of Quantity

• Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.

• To calculate the cost of construction for a projects (Pre-contract) based om the drawings and documents.

• To assist in the assessment of all contractual claims, work progress, etc.

• To invite sub-contractors of various trades to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotation accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con.

• Preparation of project budgets, reports and cost estimation.

• Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on projects.

• To resolve any outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in QS course or equivalent.

• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience, preferably in similar industry.
