Responsibilities:

Core Accounting

· Maintain full set or partial set of accounts

· Prepare and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

· Issue invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and receipts

· Process supplier payments and customer collections

· Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

Financial Reporting · Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

· Prepare management reports and financial schedules

· Support preparation of financial statements

· Analyse variances and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Compliance & Tax

· Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

· Assist with audit schedules and liaise with external auditors. · Support corporate tax and statutory filing requirements

Payroll & Administration

· Handle employee claims and reimbursements

· Maintain accounting records and filing systems

· Support finance-related administrative tasks

Budgeting & Cash Flow

· Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue payments

· Track payables and ensure timely payments

· Assist in cash flow forecasting and budgeting exercises

System & Process Improvement

· Maintain accounting systems such as Xero and ERPNext

· Improve finance processes and internal controls

· Support system implementations and data migration projects

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role.

• Good knowledge of invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.

• Good PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of responsibility.

• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently.

• Experience with Xero, Info-Tech, and Zetta will be an added advantage.
