Brief Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for business applications and databases, addressing application bugs and database errors efficiently.

• Integrate new features and translate business rules into structured data requirements and system specifications.

• Build and refine database frameworks to enable accurate reporting and effective data extraction.

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to enhance data structure integrity.

• Assist in the implementation of software patches, upgrades, and database migrations.

• Monitor database performance, identify areas for improvement, and apply tuning measures for optimization.

• Conduct system and application tests to ensure functionality and performance before new releases or updates.

• Manage user access to applications and databases while ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.

• Take charge of IT audits and business continuity planning.

• Perform backup tasks for IT system support and fulfill other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application and database systems roles.

• Familiarity with SICS and SAP Business Intelligence is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of MS SQL databases and scripting languages.

• Proficient in database design, data modeling, and query optimization.

• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
