Port Agency Operator (JUNIOR /EXECUTIVE) - #1168760

What You Will Do

• Manage end-to-end port call operations, from pre-arrival information messages to Final Disbursement Account (FDA) closure

• Handle submission of ICA applications, Pilotage bookings, transmission messages, and MPA Digiport

• Source and select contractors for goods and services, including submission of competitive quotations

• Prepare and submit accurate Pre-Disbursement Accounts (PDA) and ensure correct pre-funding is in place prior to port call execution

• Monitor vessel activities and provide proactive, efficient, and timely communication with principals and stakeholders

• Maintain accurate vessel files and ensure all transactional systems are updated in real-time

• Ensure full compliance with Ships Agency processes, QHSSE standards, and company procedures

• Ensure prompt acknowledgement and response to emails

• Maintain a good personalize working relationship with principals with good communication and updates at all times

• Ensure a consistently high level of accuracy of deliverables and excellent service

• Ensure cost effective Vessel Operation

Salary:

• JUNIOR OPERATOR - $2,5000

• OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE - $3,000 plus vessel allowances.

Requirements – JUNIOR

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with relevant knowledge of shipping operations but no prior work experience are welcome. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

• A passion for Port Agency Operations, willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills are essential.

• Proficient in English (written and spoken) with good communication skills.

• HIGHER NITEC / Diploma in Maritime Studies or equivalent

Requirements - EXECUTIVE

• At least 2 years of relevant experience is required

• Proficient in English (written and spoken)

• HIGHER NITEC / Diploma in Maritime Studies or equivalent

• Good language, interpersonal and communication skills

• Passion for Port Agency Operations, Positive attitude, willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently as we well as part of a team

• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines

• Basic proficiency with IT applications
