The Job

We are looking for an experienced Service & Support Engineer in Singapore.In this role, your job will be to provide industry leading support to our customers in Asia Pacific region. You will primarily work with microgrid, generator control and protection for bespoke land and marine applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontline customer support that resolves technical issues for all DEIF products

• Respond to customer’s technical enquiries and provide input regarding solutions using internal systems

• Where required, test and analyse equipment failures to evaluate cause and determine corrective actions

• Service work on previous projects

• Support customer commissioning in field & remote

• Customer training

• Maintain and update product knowledge of all DEIF products.

The person

We are looking for someone that is outgoing, a proactive team player and who is dedicated to bringing the best possible support to customers. You can multitask while being attentive to detail. You know that networking with your colleagues and external partners is the key to being successful in our office where you will be based, and towards our various sales channels.

Requirements

• At least Dilploma in electrical engineering, or 3+ years in related field experience

• Knowledge of PLC or Microprocessor based controls, software and logic

• Knowledge of CAD drawing will be an advantage

• Knowledge of microgrids, Energy Management Systems, Generators / BESS / PV control systems and protection of power distribution systems.

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point

• Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.

• Flexibility to respond to changing business needs.

• Experience in fault finding and servicing genset controllers

• Must be fluent in English.
