We are a Singapore-based beverage brand specialising in bubble tea and freshly prepared drinks. As our retail network continues to grow, we are looking for a team member with both retail design and renovation project management experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for store layout planning, technical drawings, 3D visualisation, contractor coordination and renovation progress management for new and existing outlets.
Responsibilities:
Plan and design store layouts based on the company’s brand identity, operational requirements and actual site conditions.
Prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation, including: Floor plans and space layouts, Counter and equipment layouts, Electrical and plumbing point layouts, Ceiling and lighting plans, Storefront elevations and signage drawings, Furniture, cabinetry and fixture details, Other construction drawings required for renovation works
Produce 3D renderings and visualisations that clearly present the overall store design, colour scheme, materials, lighting and branding elements.
Work closely with the Operations, Marketing and Management teams to understand business requirements and improve the design accordingly.
Coordinate with renovation contractors, suppliers, shopping mall management teams and other relevant parties to ensure that the design and construction requirements are clearly understood.
Review renovation quotations, material specifications, construction proposals and project schedules, and identify any missing, unreasonable or unnecessary items.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship, quality and compliance with the approved design.
Manage the overall renovation schedule and ensure that projects are completed on time, within the approved budget and according to the company’s quality standards.
Provide regular updates on project progress, site issues, potential delays, risks and matters requiring management decisions.
Maintain and organise all project-related documents, including drawings, quotations, material samples, variation orders, progress reports and renovation records.
Assist with the renovation, repair, equipment replacement and brand image upgrading of existing outlets.
Conduct pre-handover inspections, prepare defect lists and follow up with contractors to ensure that all outstanding works are properly completed.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to independently prepare floor plans, elevations and basic construction drawings.
Proficient in at least one 3D design or rendering software, such as: SketchUp,3ds Max, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion
Good understanding of retail or food and beverage outlet renovation processes
Strong project management skills with the ability to prepare, manage and follow up on renovation schedules.
Able to read and understand construction drawings, with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drainage, lighting, air-conditioning, signage and carpentry works.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, suppliers and shopping mall management teams.
Detail-oriented, responsible and proactive in identifying and resolving site and construction issues.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
Willing and able to travel to different outlets and construction sites for inspections and project coordination.
