Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with ECDA and the centre's curriculum.

• Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child's learning journey.

• Observe, assess and document children's development and learning progress.

• Maintain accurate children's portfolios and developmental records.

Classroom Management

• Create a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, confidence and independence.

• Ensure the classroom remains clean, organised and conducive for learning.

• Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene.

Parent Partnership

• Build positive relationships with parents through regular communication and updates.

• Discuss children's progress and work collaboratively with families to support development.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with fellow educators and centre leaders to achieve educational goals.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes and centre events.

• Support centre initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education or equivalent recognised by ECDA.

• Holds L2 ECDA certification.

• Passionate about working with young children.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
