Responsibilities

As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for equipment performance across Quality, Uptime and Cost.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and improve equipment performance, reliability and availability

• Monitor equipment KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Optimise preventive maintenance programmes and maintenance procedures

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimise production downtime

• Work closely with Process and Manufacturing Engineers to improve productivity

• Coordinate spare parts planning and equipment logistics

• Manage maintenance expenditure while maintaining equipment reliability

• Support engineering projects to improve productivity, yield and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, Materials or related Engineering discipline

• At least 3 years of semiconductor equipment engineering experience

• Hands-on experience supporting Etch or Implant equipment within a wafer fabrication environment

• Experience with 8-inch wafer fabrication equipment will be highly advantageous

• Familiarity with equipment such as AMAT, DPSM, DSTI, ASPEN or equivalent systems is preferred

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Senior Engineer

Candidates with strong technical competency and extensive semiconductor equipment experience may be considered for Senior Engineer positions. Senior Engineers are expected to independently manage equipment, lead technical improvements and provide technical guidance within their area of expertise.
