About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Ducting) to supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC ducting systems at project sites. The role ensures that all ducting works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
· Project Implementation & Coordination
o Supervisor daily ducting installation activities at construction site.
o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
o Read and interpret HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and construction specifications.
o Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
o Coordinate material deliveries and verify quantities received.
o Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with project schedules.
o Monitor productivity and maintain daily site reports.
o Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
Report project progress, delays, and resource requirements to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
· Quality Control
o Ensure works follow local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
o Implement QA/QC procedures and rectify non-conformities.
o Ensure duct fabrication and installation comply with approved drawings and industry standards.
o Conduct site inspections and quality checks before work handover.
· Ensure Site Safety and Regulatory Compliance
o Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.
o Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site workers.
o Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education & Certifications
Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field
Technical Skills
Minimium 5-10 years of HVAC construction experience, including minimum 3 years of experience supervising HVAC ducting installation projects.
Good knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems, insulation, supports, and accessories.
Ability to read construction and HVAC shop drawings.
Familiar with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as SMACNA, ASHRAE.
Proficient in project management tools and MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM is an advantage.
