Job Summary
The Senior Supervisor is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of a Hawker Centre, ensuring smooth operations across the premises, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service, managing tenant relationships, supervising the in-house beverage stall, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will serve as the key on-site representative, working closely with government agencies, contractors, tenants, and management to deliver operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage daily hawker centre operations, opening/closing and operational inspections.
· Oversee beverage stall operations including manpower, inventory, quality and sales.
· Build strong tenant relationships and ensure compliance with tenancy requirements.
· Liaise with NEA, SFA and other government agencies; coordinate inspections and regulatory compliance.
· Supervise cleaning contractors, facilities maintenance, pest control and housekeeping.
· Support customer feedback
· Recruit, train, coach and supervise operational staff.
· Monitor operating costs, procurement, and inventory.
· Support and prepare comprehensive monthly management reports covering operational performance, beverage sales, tenant matters, customer feedback, maintenance status, cleaning performance, compliance updates, incidents, manpower utilisation and improvement plans.
· Act as the primary on-site representative and engage community stakeholders.
Requirements
· Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 3 years management experience in F&B, food court, coffee shop, hawker centre, mall or integrated development operations.
· Experience supervising 10–20 staff and multiple stakeholders.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of Singapore food safety regulations.
· Experience liaising with NEA is preferred.
· Food Safety Course Level 3 is an advantage or willingness to obtain it.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Working Hours
· 6-day work week.
· Rotating shifts based on operational requirements.
· Required to work on weekends and public holidays.
· Must be contactable for operational emergencies when required.
