Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining the company's WSH management system on site.

• Monitor workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance while promoting safe work practices.

• Conduct risk assessments, site safety inspections, and ensure good housekeeping standards.

• Perform the duties of a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

• Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, subcontractors, and liaise with government agencies (e.g. MOM, NEA, PUB) on WSHE matters.

• Enforce company safety policies and statutory regulations, and implement Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare HSE reports, statutory submissions, risk assessments, and other safety documentation.

• Conduct HSE training, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness programmes for site personnel.

• Supervise the safety team and support the rehabilitation and return-to-work process for injured workers.
  

Requirements

• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer

• Experienced in LTA Project
