We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Senior / Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, integration, testing, and lifecycle support of complex mechanical systems and products from concept through production. This role provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring that mechanical solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements.
Leveraging extensive engineering experience and sound technical judgment, the Senior Mechanical Engineer drives design innovation, conducts engineering analyses, oversees prototype development and validation, and resolves complex technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle. The role also plays a key part in mentoring junior engineers, establishing engineering best practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, development efficiency, and technical excellence.
Success in this role requires strong expertise in mechanical design, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering analysis, combined with proficiency in modern CAD and simulation tools. The ideal candidate is a collaborative technical leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions within the defence, aerospace, or other advanced technology sectors.

Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on project requirements.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other systems.
Perform testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the design and production process.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Document design processes, test results, and project progress.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and technology.
Qualities We Value
Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams and projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a defense, aerospace, or high-tech engineering environment is a plus.
