Assistant Warehouse Manager / Air Export Officer - #1168471

Our client is a well-established MNC and a leading provider of integrated logistics and supply chain solutions with a strong global presence. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager / Air Export Officer to join their operations team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.

Assistant Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

• Supervise warehouse manpower and coordinate daily operational activities.

• Plan and optimize warehouse space allocation for incoming inventory.

• Monitor inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and stock reconciliation.

• Ensure timely order processing, picking, packing, and shipment according to operational schedules.

• Track operational performance and ensure service levels are achieved.

• Review, update, and implement warehouse operational procedures and work instructions.

• Maintain compliance with warehouse safety and operational standards.

• Prepare operational reports and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

• At least 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or FMCG warehousing.

• Hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfilment, and warehouse planning.

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management software.

Air Export Officer

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end air export shipment coordination from booking to departure.

• Prepare and verify export shipping documentation and customs-related paperwork.

• Coordinate with airlines, warehouse teams, transport vendors, customers, and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment execution.

• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates on delivery status.

• Handle shipment exceptions and resolve operational issues.

• Support customer enquiries related to export shipments and documentation.

• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in air freight forwarding or export operations.

• Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

• Comfortable working in the Changi Airfreight Centre.
