Our client is a well-established MNC and a leading provider of integrated logistics and supply chain solutions with a strong global presence. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager / Air Export Officer to join their operations team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.
Assistant Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Supervise warehouse manpower and coordinate daily operational activities.
Plan and optimize warehouse space allocation for incoming inventory.
Monitor inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
Ensure timely order processing, picking, packing, and shipment according to operational schedules.
Track operational performance and ensure service levels are achieved.
Review, update, and implement warehouse operational procedures and work instructions.
Maintain compliance with warehouse safety and operational standards.
Prepare operational reports and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
At least 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or FMCG warehousing.
Hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfilment, and warehouse planning.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
Air Export Officer
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end air export shipment coordination from booking to departure.
Prepare and verify export shipping documentation and customs-related paperwork.
Coordinate with airlines, warehouse teams, transport vendors, customers, and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates on delivery status.
Handle shipment exceptions and resolve operational issues.
Support customer enquiries related to export shipments and documentation.
Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in air freight forwarding or export operations.
Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Comfortable working in the Changi Airfreight Centre.
