Assistant Manager, Technical Operations (Centralised Cooling System)

Location: Tengah Plantation Plaza
Salary: $4,200 – $5,200/month
Contract: 1 + 1 year (Extendable / Convertible)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods.

About the role:
Join one of Singapore's leading utilities companies and play a key role in supporting residents in Tengah.

The Centralised Cooling System (CCS) is a district cooling system used in Tengah HDB estates. Instead of each home having its own outdoor air-conditioning compressor, cooling is supplied from a central plant to each unit.

As part of this role, you'll help manage and coordinate cases when residents experience CCS-related issues (e.g. no cooling, water leaks, or equipment faults). You'll work with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure problems are investigated, repaired and resolved promptly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and track Centralised Cooling System (CCS) cases from reporting to resolution.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, internal teams and external agencies to coordinate repair works.
• Meet residents onsite to explain the repair process and provide updates on case progress.
• Supervise contractor works to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
• Prepare and validate work orders, completion certificates and related documentation.
• Update internal systems, maintain case records and prepare management reports.
• Support process improvements and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Degree in engineering / relevant discipline with at least 2 years of experience in operations, customer service, facilities, property management or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and multiple stakeholders.
Good problem-solving skills and able to manage issues independently.
Organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Comfortable working beyond office hours or on weekends when required during peak periods.
