Brief Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing efficiency and sustainability, while implementing best practices in production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate the existing production processes, focusing on products with historical issues.

• Establish processing conditions for current production equipment and enhance efficiency in plastics compounding.

• Develop innovative production methods tailored to specific applications and formulations.

• Address production challenges related to process procedures through collaboration with Manufacturing and Technology teams.

• Conduct plant trials to validate new processes and facilitate scaling up from samples to full production.

• Manage projects aiming at improving production rates and standardizing processes.

• Investigate customer complaints associated with process issues and implement corrective measures.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing overall production quality and participate in quality assurance activities across the plant.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in transferring new product processes from other facilities.

• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives, including timely root cause analysis (RCA) and effective corrective actions.

• Lead or partake in cross-functional projects to promote process enhancements, cost savings, and operational excellence.

• Implement lean methodologies such as 5S, value stream mapping, and visual management to eliminate waste and improve workflows.

Requirements:

• Degree or Master's in Polymer Sciences, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

• Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt is preferable.

• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA), lean tools, and related methodologies.
