About the Role

Goldbell Leasing Pte Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Technician, Service (Material Handling Equipment) to join our Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of material handling equipment, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and overhaul of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including electric and diesel forklifts.

• Perform accurate diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify equipment faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

• Conduct inspections and ensure all servicing work is completed to the highest quality standards while meeting turnaround time targets.

• Recommend and communicate necessary repair work and replacement parts to Team Controllers and customers.

• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.

• Deliver professional and responsive customer service, ensuring a positive service experience.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by adhering to company safety policies and operational procedures.

• Participate in the standby duty roster for emergency service support (2 weeks every quarter, including weekends and public holidays).

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Service Manager.

Requirements

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing industrial machinery or equipment, such as:

  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

  • Electric or diesel forklifts

  • Automotive vehicles

  • Industrial or heavy equipment

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.

• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Must be able to support standby duties for 2 weeks every quarter, including weekends and public holidays.

• Applicants must be residing in Singapore to support standby operations.
