Legal Executive - #1167887

The Legal Department is seeking to hire a Legal Executive to join the dynamic team. This role is based in Singapore, supporting our Singapore company and its Malaysia and Philippines subsidiaries. The covers corporate secretarial work, compliance, corporate governance and legal support. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of the Legal Department, who is also based in Singapore.

What you will be doing:

• Carry out corporate secretarial work for the Singapore company and the Philippine subsidiary, including liaising with corporate secretarial service providers and internal stakeholders

• Assist with compliance work for Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines, including assisting with policies and preparation of compliance training materials on such policies

• Support legal matters for the Singapore company and its Malaysia and Philippines subsidiaries, including contract management and corporate governance

• Assist with other tasks that the Legal Department may need to undertake from time to time

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Law

• Prior experience in commercial contracts, compliance, corporate governance, regulatory matters and/or cross-border legal support

• Good understanding of compliance law to maintain operations within legal boundaries and meet relevant regulatory requirements

• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills

• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player

• Highly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision
