Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Regional Sales and Trading Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Originate and drive cross-border project opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from early engagement to contract execution.

• Lead steel trading and triangular transactions, optimizing commercial terms, logistics, and risk allocation.

• Manage complex, multi-country supply chains to support large-scale project delivery.

• Expand and strengthen the global supplier network to enhance competitiveness and supply resilience.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing key accounts.

• Lead negotiations on significant contracts, implementing competitive pricing strategies.

• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver customized solutions for clients.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing strategic insights to management.

• Prepare precise sales forecasts and performance reports.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all sales activities.

• Travel extensively within Southeast Asia (up to 40-50% of the time) for client meetings, industry events, and overseeing regional operations.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and understanding of customer needs to position the company as a trusted partner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field

• Solid product knowledge: Hot Roll Plate, Rebar/Sections, Slabs; ERSS familiarity is a plus.

• Strong numeracy for cost sheets, FX and freight calculations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes
