  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for genomics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.

  • Identify growth opportunities and prioritize product initiatives based on market trends, customer insights, and business impact.

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept development and validation through product launch, commercialization, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to identify emerging trends, customer requirements, and opportunities for product enhancement.

  • Analyze market dynamics, customer segments, competitor offerings, and technological advancements within the genomics and life sciences industries.

  • Translate market insights into actionable product strategies and development priorities.

  • Collaborate with research and development, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative genomics products and features.

  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback, converting requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and development objectives.

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure product solutions meet customer expectations, technical requirements, and business objectives.

  • Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans to support successful product adoption and market expansion.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders to gather market insights and drive product growth.

  • Support sales and marketing teams with product knowledge, messaging, and market intelligence.

  • Establish and monitor key product metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance, customer adoption, and business impact.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product strategies, prioritize enhancements, and improve user experience.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, coordinating communication between customers, internal teams, and business stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present product strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to senior management.

  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to genomics, diagnostics, and life sciences products.

  • Ensure product development and commercialization processes comply with relevant regulatory frameworks, certifications, and quality standards.

  • Support regulatory documentation and compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably within genomics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or life sciences industries.

  • Proven experience managing complex, technology-driven products with a strong understanding of genomic science, applications, and market trends.

  • Strong knowledge of the genomics industry landscape, including key market players, customer segments, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and translate insights into effective product strategies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with regulatory compliance, product certifications, and industry standards within diagnostics or life sciences sectors is highly preferred.
