SALES ENGINEER - #1167738

This is a direct Sales & Marketing / Business Development position for marine products focusing on a few regional markets.

Variety of products within accommodation interior and mechanical departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Activities and Account Management: Manage existing customer account; Evaluating sales potential and active follow-up with customers requirement.

• Quotation Management: Prepare and issue formal commercial quotes for our range of marine and industrial products based on client specifications.

• Principal Liaison: Communicate with overseas principals (mostly in Europe) regarding lead times, technical specifications, and custom order requirements.

• Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via phone and email; Identify customers’ needs and offer technical solution/products.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records in the system, including customer databases, sales contracts.

• Sales Coordination: Support the Outdoor Sales team by preparing marketing materials, following up on outstanding quotes, and scheduling appointments if necessary.

• After-Sales Support: Assist in resolving any discrepancies in deliveries or basic product claims or any related queries.

• Ad-Hoc: To perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when required/assigned by management.

The ideal candidate should:

• Preferably have some sales experience (Bonus if experienced in technical sales and or marine/shipbuilding industry)

• Able to work independently

• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills,

• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Able to travel frequently for the job

• Most importantly - good attitude, driven
