Facility Technician - #1167653

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance - Perform general maintenance duties for building facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality

• Preventive Maintenance - Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and equiment through cleaning, lubricating, and greasing to optimise performance and prevent breakdowns.

• Minor Electrical Work - Handle minor electrical tasks that do not require a license, such as repairing office lighting and troubleshooting appliances.

• Surface Protection - Apply paint or varnish to various sufaces for protection and preservation.

• Inspection & Recording - Carry out routine inspections on all operating machinery and equipment. Assist in the recording of facility utilities (eg., water, gas, electricity)

• Ad-hoc Support - Perform related duties as required, including providing external support or assisting with repairs as needed.

• Physical Requirements - Candidates must be comfortable with physical tasks, including working at heights, climbing ladders, and handling tools and equipment for repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a Work at Height Certificate and Scissor Lift License is advantageous.
