About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Central Kitchen Chef to support daily production operations and lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the central kitchen.

• Lead, supervise and motivate the kitchen team to achieve production targets.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and company SOPs.

• Monitor food quality, consistency, portion control and presentation.

• Plan menus and develop recipes together with management.

• Prepare and cook food while maintaining high quality standards.

• Ensure timely completion of food production according to delivery schedules.

• Manage inventory, stock rotation and ingredient ordering.

• Minimise food wastage through proper planning and inventory control.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production and fulfilment.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitchen productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant cooking experience.

• Experience in a central kitchen, catering, institutional kitchen, school kitchen, food manufacturing, or large-scale food production environment.

• Experience preparing large-volume meals will be an advantage.

• Positive attitude with willingness to learn.

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling heavy ingredients when required.

Working Hours

• 6-day work week

• 12-hour shifts

• Location: Woodlands Link

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: $5,000 - $6,000
