Permitting Engineer / Lead (Greenfield Projects / EPC/ Construction) - #1167432

• Appointed as the contact person between with company, design team and Qualified Person(s) for permitting-related activities.

• Ensure that design meets local building codes compliances and fire safety standard.

• Prepare and manage permitting workflows and schedules based on deliverables, identify critical tasks, and ensure permitting approvals are obtained in timely manners to support project milestones.

• Manage discussion/consultation with local Authorities - fire safety issues, NEA, and design safety with BCA.

• Responsible for leading permitting weekly meetings

• Act as an advisory role to the teams to ensure that design and plant operation meet local building codes compliances and relevant fire safety standard.

• Identify non-compliances and propose mitigation measures where possible.

• Technical documents for QP’s submission.

• Collate project control plans and building plans based on engineering deliverables for QP’s submission.

• Responsible for obtaining permitting approvals timely to support project milestones.

• Degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the construction/ manufacturing plant projects
