Job Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance and reliability.

• Request, compare and analyse supplier quotations.

• Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders and monitor order fulfilment.

• Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.

• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers.

• Coordinate purchasing requirements with Production, Engineering, Quality and other internal departments.

• Monitor stock levels and plan material replenishment according to MRP requirements.

• Balance material availability to minimise shortages, excess inventory and operational disruptions.

• Maintain accurate procurement and supply-chain data within the ERP system, including pricing, lead times and inventory information.

• Monitor material costs, delivery schedules and supplier performance.

• Work with suppliers, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve material or quality issues.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support on-time delivery.

• Liaise with freight forwarders on import and export arrangements.

• Prepare and verify relevant shipping and logistics documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve transportation, inventory and supply-chain cost efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply-chain operations.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least three years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within electronics or manufacturing.

• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, purchasing and price negotiation.

• Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems.

• Understanding of inventory planning and material replenishment.

• Familiarity with import/export procedures and Incoterms.

• CIPS certification or an equivalent procurement qualification would be advantageous.

• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining purchasing and system-data accuracy.
