This role offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of establishing advanced cardiorespiratory services at EGH. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in intensive care units and general wards. Your responsibilities will include initiating and titrating assisted ventilation, managing various ventilatory modes and equipment, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy/Care from recognised institutions

• Respiratory Therapist credentials in the country of training and licensure

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certificate

• Respiratory Therapists must be certified by Respiratory Therapy Credential Evaluation Panel (CEP) to practice

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in respiratory care (ICU experience preferred)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and rotating shifts (day/night)

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies

• Commitment to continuous professional development
