Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural and technical designs for steel structures and prepare calculation reports.
• Produce and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and related engineering documentation.
• Guide drafters and verify drawing accuracy to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate and optimize design assumptions to achieve competitive and economical engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on technical matters.
• Provide engineering recommendations in accordance with Singapore standards, codes, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Propose value engineering initiatives, design enhancements, and innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and project profitability.
• Support project execution through site and factory visits, providing technical guidance and resolving engineering issues.
• Perform additional technical assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in steel structure design, earth-retaining stabilizing structures design, or related engineering fields is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tekla Tedds, STAAD.Pro, or similar engineering software.
• Ability to conduct site and factory visits when required.
