Job Summary
The jobholder (2-year contract) is responsible for supporting MENDAKI in improving how work is structured, how people work together, and how change is managed, so that the organisation remains effective, aligned, and ready for future needs.

The incumbent is expected to work between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and may be required to work over weekends and public holidays to support organisation events.

Although he/she is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel out of office for meetings.

Key Responsibility Areas

Organisational Design and Change

  1. Support organisation design work such as role clarity, structure reviews, and job alignment.

  2. Support organisational changes including restructuring, new initiatives, and process changes.

  3. Work with departments to help manage change smoothly and minimise disruption to staff.


Culture and Ways of Working

  1. Support initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, values, and desired behaviours.

  2. Work with leaders and teams to improve collaboration, communication, and ways of working.

  3. Help embed organisational values into daily work practices.


Engagement and Organisational Health

  1. Support staff engagement surveys, pulse checks, and feedback exercises.

  2. Analyse engagement results and work with departments on follow-up actions. c. Identify organisation-wide issues affecting morale, effectiveness, or engagement.


Requirements

  1. At least 5 years of relevant HR or organisation development experience, with some experience supporting organisation-wide initiatives or change work.

  2. Good understanding of organisation development, change management, and people practices.

  3. Able to communicate clearly and confidently with managers and staff.

  4. Able to analyse issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.

  5. Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a changing and evolving environment.

  6. Experience in the community or public sector is an advantage.

  7. Professional HR or OD certification (e.g. IHRP, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
