NEL/SPLRT Power - Snr/ Technician - #1167139

Primary Objectives of Position

• Operation and maintenance of NEL OCS and DC traction power equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and availability to meet operational requirements

Major Responsibilities

• Carry out on routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works for NEL OCS system

• Ensure work carried out are in accordance with work instructions and procedures

• Responsible for maintaining system and update work records

• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors

Specific Safety Responsibilities

• To enforce Departmental Work Instructions and all Rail related safety rules and procedures

• Responsible for the safety of departmental staff, related contractors and others working on the Electrical Power distribution & OCS system in the MRT premises

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical Technology or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• Preferably with relevant working experience in maintenance of HV and DC traction equipment.

Knowledge/Skills

• Good interpersonal skill
