About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Drafting Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in the East Region. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $3,000 - $4,500 per month with a 5-day work week, annual wage supplement (AWS), and performance bonuses. As an Electrical Design & Drafting Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating complex electrical concepts into precise, detailed technical drawings and designs. Your work will directly support the successful delivery of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This position is integral to our engineering department and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on project outcomes from conception through to implementation.

What you'll be doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design electrical control systems for factory automation and semiconductor equipment.

• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and cable drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.

• Select suitable electrical components (PLC, sensors, relays, switches, power supplies, etc.) and prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and project engineers to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements.

• Support the assembly team by answering technical queries and updating electrical drawings when required.

• Conduct electrical testing and verify control panels before machine delivery.

• Assist in machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing at customer sites.

• Ensure all electrical designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards such as SEMI S2/S8 and SOP39.

• Work with suppliers and purchasing teams to source electrical components and manage engineering changes.

• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, drawings, manuals, and technical reports.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.

• Experience in electrical design for industrial automation or manufacturing equipment.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.

• Knowledge of PLC control systems, electrical wiring, and industrial automation.

• Able to read and prepare electrical schematics and control panel drawings.

• Familiar with electrical components and industrial communication systems.
