System Engineer | Up to $6000 | AMK #9398 - #1166942

Location: Ang Mo Kio + Client Project Site

Salary Range: $4500 to $6000

Working Days & Time: 08:30 to 18:00

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Project Manager and engineering team in delivering projects according to scope, timeline, and cost

• Manage project documentation and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders

• Act as a System Engineer to support implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems

• Perform system setup, database configuration, system integration, and deployment activities

• Provide support for IT infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft-based systems and servers

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and system backups

• Assist in cybersecurity system setup, vulnerability checks, and network switch configuration

• Conduct network checks, IP configuration, and connectivity testing for project devices

• Carry out installation, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure

• Monitor system performance, server health, and network connectivity to ensure smooth operations

• Support troubleshooting for hardware, software, server, and networking-related issues

• Work closely with project teams, vendors, and clients on technical implementation and support

• Prepare presentations, technical documentation, and conduct training sessions for stakeholders

• Provide technical recommendations and solutions for infrastructure and system improvements

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT Security, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, system engineering, or project implementation

• Hands-on experience as a System Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer is preferred

• Experience in project coordination, system deployment, or system integration projects is an advantage

• Knowledge of database management, SQL, and SQL Management Studio

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability assessment, and security system implementation

• Experience with Windows OS, Windows Servers, virtualization, or hypervisors

• Understanding of network configuration, switches, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting

• Basic knowledge in software development or scripting will be an added advantage

• Experience with access control systems such as CCTV, card readers, gantries, and key management systems is preferred

• Knowledge of redundancy technologies such as failover clustering and NIC teaming is an advantage

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
