About the role

We are seeking Entry-Level Assistant Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position based in the North Region. As an Assistant Engineer, you will support our engineering operations and contribute to the development and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing processes and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in electrical and electronic engineering whilst working with cutting-edge technology and experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing machines.

• Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns to keep production running smoothly.

• Inspect and monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation.

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate equipment for production.

• Work with Production and Engineering teams to solve machine issues.

• Replace faulty parts and carry out basic equipment servicing.

• Record maintenance work and update service reports.

• Support the installation and testing of new machines when required.

• Follow safety rules, cleanroom procedures, and company guidelines.

• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns during production.

What we're looking for

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.

• Candidates with semiconductor or manufacturing experience will have an advantage.

• Capable of carrying out hands-on preventive maintenance

• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, or weekends when required.

• Good problem-solving skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.
