About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join SWIFTX SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in the East Region on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our development and operations teams, ensuring seamless deployment, infrastructure management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining system reliability, optimising performance, and enabling our teams to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute significantly to the success of our organisation's digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure and cloud environments using industry-standard tools and platforms

2. Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment, testing and release processes

3. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability

4. Collaborate with software developers to streamline development workflows and improve deployment efficiency

5. Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot the ECM application, working with the software vendor to obtain resolution where required

6. Manage containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

7. Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure, including identity and access management

8. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support team members

9. Conduct capacity planning and optimisation to ensure cost-effective resource utilisation

10. Respond to incidents and conduct post-incident reviews to prevent future occurrences

11. Provide application support, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving production issues to ensure application stability and performance

What we're looking for

1. 1+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, systems administration or related infrastructure roles

2. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform

3. Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes

4. Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar platforms

5. Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing and security protocols

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

7. Strong communication skills and ability to document technical processes clearly

8. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience

9. Preferred: Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, etc.)
