About the role
Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Value-Added Services Manager to join our dynamic team in the East Region. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation and management of value-added services within our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. As VAS Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new service opportunities, optimising existing offerings and driving revenue growth through innovative service solutions. This role is strategically important to our business growth and directly contributes to enhancing our competitive position in the market.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement value-added service strategies that align with company objectives and market demands
Identify, evaluate and pursue new service opportunities within the manufacturing, transport and logistics sectors
Manage the end-to-end delivery of value-added services, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction
Monitor service performance metrics and analyse data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support service expansion
Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate service launches, implementation and ongoing management
Develop detailed business cases and financial projections for new service initiatives
Manage budgets and control costs associated with VAS operations whilst maximising profitability
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive positioning opportunities
Report on service performance, revenue generation and key performance indicators to senior management
What we're looking for
Minimum 5+ years' experience in value-added services management, business development or operations management within manufacturing, transport and logistics industries
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing new service offerings and achieving revenue targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
Excellent project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting and cost control
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Knowledge of supply chain, logistics operations or manufacturing processes
Proficiency in business analysis tools and enterprise software systems
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
Preferred: Experience in service innovation and digital transformation initiatives
